2019 New Year Prayer for Southeast Asia

Oh Father God, after passing the eventful last year, we thank you for allowing us to greet this new year 2019. Throwing off all the old and stale things, may we be strengthened with our Father God in newness. Allow this day to be the day of joy where we start anew.

In this day of history, Father God has loved us. You foreknew us. You have chosen us. You have justified us. You will lead us to the ultimate place of glory. At this time, as we remember that immeasurable love of the Father God, this inexpressible deep and wide love that you have put in us, since we have come to know and see that love, may we be the ones to testify that love.

That love is the love that was from the beginning. It is the glory of God from the beginning. It is the eternal life of the Father God that was from the beginning. But because man fell, man went away from God. Man fell into the sinful world and could not see and could not understand that world. You have sent Jesus Christ to this world. You have allowed us to see the eternal life. You have allowed us to come to know and understand the eternal life. We truly thank you for this.

May we be the ones to proclaim that love. Until the day that the whole world, in the love of Christ gives glory to our Father God, may we be the ones with all our passions, testify that eternal life and that great love of yours. We truly ask you for this. We truly wish for this.

Throughout the many difficulties of the past days, Father God, you have held onto us who are so young and insufficient. We thank you for Allowing us to come to this position and place. The hope you have given us, the treasure you have put into us, though we may be shabby and insufficient like jars of clay, we thank you for putting the precious hope of the establishment of the Kingdom of God, for putting that precious dream in us and allowing us fulfill this world.

May we be the ones who give all our bodies, heart, devotion and bring the kingdom of our father to this earth. It is the world of love from the beginning. It is that eternal life perfectly revealed through Jesus Christ on this earth. May we be the precious chosen people to fulfill that great world on this earth.

Today, by the grace of your calling us, not only in the Southeast Asia, but worldwide, we are having this New Year's Day service. It is being offered to Father as a dedication service. You have told us to dedicate and offer the first to the Father God. We give our first to you Father. May all the things we give this year glorify our Father God. May all things we give this year be under the absolute sovereignty of our Father. It is so that only the Father's God's history of eternal glory, through us, be perfectly proclaimed to the world.

Oh Lord, may watch over us and guide us. We give everything of this year back to you Father. Please take charge of us and guide us. May we be the church that is ruled over by the trinity. May all our ministries take the rule and the guidance of the trinity. For the year 2019, may we all be the ones who leave the record of victory that was never before and never will be. Praying that you will bless us and guide us, in the name of Jesus Christ we prayed. Amen!

Thanksgiving That Reflects Grace

Thanksgiving is more than a national tradition; it is a spiritual discipline. The Apostle Paul’s words to the Thessalonians remind us that gratitude is not reserved for good days or easy seasons. It is an act of faith that sees God’s hand at work even when circumstances are unclear.

Appointing Elders, Advancing the Gospel

Paul's letter to Titus opens with urgency and mission. Crete had received the gospel. Churches had been planted. But Paul makes it clear: the work wasn't finished. The gospel had come, but in order to take root, grow, and expand further, elders had to be appointed. Leadership wasn't optional-it was foundational.

Not by Might: The Call to Lead Through the Holy Spirit and God’s Word

In Christian leadership, the temptation to depend on human strength is constant. Leaders may trust their education, experience, or strategies to carry out the work of ministry. But Scripture gives a clear reminder: the building of God's Kingdom is not a human achievement. As Zechariah 4:6 declares, "Not by might nor by

God’s Gift and Our Response: The Cycle of Grace, Gratitude, and Worship

The Christian faith is marked by a unique and profound rhythm: grace, gratitude, and praise. At the core of this faith lies the unmerited favor of God, a gift so freely given that it defies human understanding. Scripture declares, "For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace" (John 1:16, ESV). This

Called to Make Disciples in All Nations

In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."
