Gracious Mother's Day Celebrated in Churches Globally

Mother's Day 2017

May 14 is Mother's Day of this year, the local churches around the world celebrated this day with a Sunday service and special programs. The children and mothers enjoyed this day in God's love.

This love is sometimes hidden but it's always there. A mother is the one who fully commits to the life of her child and never gives up.

God sent a new family to Bogota church in Columbia, they testified, "It was a blessing for us to come here and to share with you guys, God always leads us according to His plan." The sermon was preached by Pastor Gerald about Joseph's story and they all stayed until the end which includes breaking bread, eating lunch together.

Members in Berlin Immanuel church expressed their appreciation in flowers and greetings for Mother's day.

The church in Puerto Rico gathered on Sunday after the service to celebrate the mother's day and gave thanks to God for the precious commission.

Mexico church offered a special sermon for mothers, which was about the prayer of Anna, the mother of the prophet Samuel, as a proof of the deep love God gave to the mothers.

The members of Kuala Lumpur Immanuel Community Church (P) celebrated Mothers' Day with a sermon based on Hebrews 12:1-3. With the day coinciding with Mothers' Day, the congregants also reflected on the challenges of mothers who are always in the position of serving.

It is the blessing of God that the local churches can celebrate the Mother's Day together. Please pray each mother both physically and spiritually, and may God bless this world through our precious mothers.
