AM Networks With South America to Confirm Leaders for Pentecost & Summer Internship

2017 AM Brazil

Apostolos Missions began to expand the network within the South America region this week. AM has considered new methods and strategies for reaching the region and communicated with several church ministers to solidify plans.

AM shared with the ministers the method of finding a leader through event evangelism. During a recent conference with all 10 countries in the region, the ministers were encouraged to hold a charity-like event and gather a lot of passionate young people to serve in the event. One example was provided through the co-work between AM and Ecuador. The minister in Quito visited a youth hostel with several young people and held various activities, including sharing the Word.

The hope is that a leader and various members could be identified through this kind of event. It is a good strategy because it does not require a great commitment from the students. They simply come to an event once or twice a month. Those who express the most interest might like to consider co-working more with AM.

Another method that was encouraged was confirming leaders and members through holding a Pentecost retreat. Many of the churches in South America already have a lot of young people attending services. Therefore, the church is looking for these pools of people to shift into becoming an AM leader or member.

AM is also preparing resources for the retreat. The resources will include Bible notes from Acts chapters 1-3 that can be used for the retreat messages as well as discussion and application questions. The resources have been completed in English and now need to be finalized in Spanish.

The churches in South America are growing gracefully with lots of people. Many of the churches are looking forward to setting up AM and appreciate the extra guidance and assistance during the conferences. Please pray for the expansion of the AM network by Pentecost.

In Christian leadership, the temptation to depend on human strength is constant. Leaders may trust their education, experience, or strategies to carry out the work of ministry. God’s Gift and Our Response: The Cycle of Grace, Gratitude, and Worship

The Christian faith is marked by a unique and profound rhythm: grace, gratitude, and praise. Called to Make Disciples in All Nations

In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."

The Power Within: Embracing the Holy Spirit's Work

In the journey of faith, we often find ourselves eagerly seeking to fulfill the Great Commission, to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth, just as Jesus commanded his disciples. However, in our fervor to carry out this mission, let us not overlook a crucial commandment given by our Lord Himself.
