Olivet Teen Mission International is launching 7 ministries to serve teens from all kinds of backgrounds and interests as well as to hasten the recruitment for leaders. Teenagers all over the world have many common characteristics, yet they also differ from location, lifestyle, and economic status. Each of these factors greatly impacts teens in a way that will shape their life for the future. OTM's strategy is to reach them where they are through interesting programs. Creating these ministries will facilitate in accomplishing this.

After observing the strong current interests, needs, and influence teens have had in the churches, OTM has decided to establish these ministries: High School, Middle School, College, Parents, Enrichment Programs, Teachers, Mission.

High School and Middle School were already established ministries, yet OTM also wants to include College ministry to recruit College Students to serve as volunteers and potential leaders. Parents Ministry is an important method to find those who guide teens, but will also grow to provide counsel and resources to parents on how to raise their adolescent children.

Seeing the strong desire of teens to use their passion and high energy to learn new skills and talents, OTM's Enrichment Programs will be a primary method in outreaching to teens. These programs will encompass Language Classes, Music Classes, Art Classes, Sports Activities, and Dance Programs, all of which have been implemented and very popular among the churches and OTM chapters. Teachers are crucial in having a strong Teen Mission organization. This ministry will help in evangelizing those with the passion and skills to lead teens. Lastly, the Mission Ministry will be a primary method in recruiting OTM Missionaries for Short-Term or Long-Term mission trips.

Now that these ministries are decided, a purpose, description, and list of activities will be created for each ministry and resources will be developed.

Through these ministries, OTM desires to open an understanding environment in all kinds of locations where teens feel heard and comfortable in expressing themselves. In this type of environment will young adolescents be able to come to know the love of Christ in a way they could not before.

Appointing Elders, Advancing the Gospel

Paul's letter to Titus opens with urgency and mission. Crete had received the gospel. Churches had been planted. But Paul makes it clear: the work wasn't finished. Not by Might: The Call to Lead Through the Holy Spirit and God’s Word

In Christian leadership, the temptation to depend on human strength is constant. Leaders may trust their education, experience, or strategies to carry out the work of ministry. In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."
